We purchased a Vihta L sauna in the summer of 2021. Our initial intention was to buy an M-sized sauna, but delivery would have been in the autumn and the Vihta L was available, so we chose that. And now we are really pleased that there is indeed space in the sauna room. We extended the terrace with three (3) planks so that you can walk more safely when there are chairs and other storage boxes on the terrace. We also built a canopy for the terrace ourselves \u2013 and it\u2019s a bit longer so that it reaches further over the top of the stairs and water doesn't fall onto the stairs, except that the gutter is waiting to be installed. The sauna was treated with a mould-proof coating immediately in the summer of purchase, and now we are still considering whether to paint the sauna this summer or let nature \u201droughen\u201d the surface of the logs a bit more so that the paint adheres better and more evenly. It\u2019s beautiful in its natural wood colour too. And what fantastic steam \u2013 we probably haven't been to the sauna once without remarking what lovely, moist steam it has, and our sauna sessions, including breaks, last a few hours. The air circulates nicely from the edges of the floor. And that fantastic heater \u2013 thankfully we opted for the Legend heater, it is magnificent. The bench seats are wonderfully wide. We added mesh to the ventilation gaps in the floor so that wasps and the like can\u2019t get inside. We also installed a ventilation grille with mesh on the outside of the vent so that wasps don't get in that way either.
\nYes, we are really happy with the sauna. It's a pleasure to look at, and above all, it's wonderful to use.
