We've enjoyed Ehtan's sauna sessions with satisfaction for several years now. The sauna, situated on the lakeshore, fits the landscape perfectly. In fact, it fits much better than the old sauna from the 60s, which was demolished. In front of the sauna, we built a spacious terrace large enough for a bigger group to cool down.
The sauna has greatly increased the comfort of being at the cottage, as the sauna room heats up very quickly even in cold weather. Our holiday home only has solar electricity, and the sauna has its own small solar panel and battery for lighting.
The entire sauna process went splendidly, from order to delivery. The transport of the sauna building was a bit worrying at first, as our cabin road is very narrow and winding, a gravel track. However, the sauna was successfully delivered and lifted onto the foundations!
Our sauna has withstood the wind and snowstorms very well without major maintenance, of course with basic upkeep. It's always nice to go to the cottage for a sauna after the deep winter!
