Greetings from Puumala, This week we got to have our first sauna in our new Ehta sauna. The sauna heated up quickly and the steam was comfortably moist, with views of Saimaa opening up from the benches. I put out a tender for a batch of saunas to ten different sauna manufacturers. Ehtasauna submitted their proposal immediately – we still haven't heard from many of the other manufacturers. We've been using the sauna for half a year now and it's excellent. They understand traditional log construction and sauna culture. The sauna's windows were altered without any issues. We could choose the contents of the delivery from a list and there was no need to haggle over the price. The sauna was delivered by lorry to the middle of the forest ready to go, and everything worked perfectly. The only thing that was a shame was that I didn't order the inside of the sauna pre-treated. Things got a bit stained before the painting weather arrived. Lovely steam.

We ordered a new sauna but it was made into a guest house instead. The old sauna, used 550 times over 5 years, we are happy with both.
