Why is a winter delivery worth it?
Delivery slots are available
Last spring, summer delivery slots were already sold out in March. In winter, there are more slots available.
Your cottage spring starts right away
When the building is already in place in winter, you can start enjoying cottage life right in spring and focus on the garden in summer.
Frozen ground bears the load
If the cabin or yard road is soft, in winter the ground is frozen and heavy transport can reach the site.
Dry air for assembly
With a kit delivery, frosty weather and spring are a good time to build, because the air is dry.

A sauna and lounge under the same roof, 20–34 m². The most popular is Sauna Cabin 25.

from 23 200 €
A holiday home or guest house, 20–46 m², up to the villas. The most popular is Cabin 30.

from 17 400 €
Extra space, guest room, work or hobby space, 13–16 m². The most popular is Aitta 16.
What does winter delivery mean?
Winter delivery means that the prefabricated building is delivered to you during the winter months (January–March).
- The winter delivery does not fundamentally differ from other Ehta deliveries in any way. However, in areas where the ground freezes over winter, the building foundations must be completed before the ground freezes. Therefore, the plans must be ready before winter.
- The depth and timing of ground frost vary considerably in Finland: last year the ground in the coastal areas of southern Finland did not freeze to any real depth at all during the winter, whereas in northern Finland the ground can freeze as early as November.
In any case: If you take up this offer, we will help you finalise your plans soon, and you will still have time to have the foundations built before the winter months.
What if my plans have only just started or I'm not sure about everything yet?
If you're not sure about everything yet – perhaps you don't know exactly what kind of building you'd like, or the planning has stalled a little – don't worry.
I'd still encourage you to get in touch. You never know where getting in touch will lead until you take that first step. (And it really doesn't commit you to anything yet.)
