Annual maintenance of the pigsty
Annual basic maintenance for a sauna building or cottage.
Log structure inspection and tightening
- Check and tighten the tie rods supporting the log frame.
- Adjust the adjustable pillar shoes of the possible pillars to match the settlement of the timber frame.
- Check of potential followers and corner board slides
Roof and penetration inspection
- Let's check the condition and watertightness of the roof.
- The chimney seal should be adjusted as necessary to accommodate building settlement.
Door adjustment
- Adjustment of door hinges and lock as necessary
- Lubricating the hinges
Bench maintenance
- Cleaning and re-treatment of seating
- Fixture check and tightening
Sauna stove maintenance
- Inspection of sauna stones, replacement of broken and discoloured stones, reloading of stones
- Vacuuming ashes and cleaning the sauna stove
- Grate inspection. Replace burnt or warped grate if necessary.

- Removal of protective measures, cleaning and waste disposal

Sauna floor treatment
- Necessary protections, removal of protections, and waste disposal
- Floor cleaning
- Floor renovation with Supi Sauna Oil.
Interior surface treatments
- Necessary protections, removal of protections, and waste disposal
- Treatment of the floor, walls and/or ceiling with a suitable surface treatment and the customer's desired shade.
Deck treatment
- Necessary protections, removal of protections, and waste disposal
- Terrace brushing before treatment. If necessary, washing of a dirty terrace
- Necessary precautions
- Treating the terrace with Tikkurila Valtti Plus Terrace Oil
- Second reading if necessary
Replacing the sauna heater
- Replacement of a burnt-out or rusted electric sauna heater with a new one.
- Inspection of sauna stones, replacement of broken and discoloured stones, reloading of stones
Hall maintenance
- Vacuuming ashes and cleaning the sauna stove
- Grate inspection. Replace burnt or warped grate if necessary.
Felt roof cleaning
- Roof felt cleaning as soft brushing
- Cleaning of potential gutters
Replacing sauna stones
- Replacement of all sauna stones regardless of their condition

- Other small maintenance works on an hourly charge, as agreed.

Household deduction
Remember to consider and utilise 35 % household deduction of the work share (work share 80% of the final invoice amount).
For example, the annual maintenance cost for a garden sauna will be €352.80 after the household deduction.
