When it's too cold to go outside, there may not be much to do. Ehtasauna and New Sauna challenged the whole of Finland to join in a sauna-building effort. Almost 200 entries came in.
Our sauna masters chose the sauna built by Ella as the best. Their reasoning was as follows:
Lots of detail, e.g. smoke rising from the chimney. Functional layout, with a toilet too. The log frame has been built stylishly from many kinds of pieces. The sauna stands on a pier foundation. Ventilation has been taken care of.
The public vote was won by Hilma and Eerika's sauna with 171 votes.
