Ehta's modern garden sauna fits perfectly into many kinds of landscape. The clean-lined, modern log sauna is also ideal for urban settings. Choose large panoramic windows that open up the space and let natural light in beautifully!
You can always choose your Ehta sauna with either a mono-pitch or a gable roof, and with City corners or exposed corner joints.

Traditional garden sauna is a warm-spirited gable-roofed outdoor sauna. If a traditional style suits your plot or goes best with your other buildings, a gable-roofed log sauna is the right choice.

Questions and answers – garden sauna
How much does a garden sauna cost?
With standard equipment, Ehta's garden saunas cost €12,300–22,400 (Garden Sauna 7–Garden Sauna 16). The Edukas garden saunas ordered from the online store cost €10,400–15,400.
The price includes a complete building with standard equipment. Transport and installation are priced according to the delivery location, and foundations are not included in the price.
Does a garden sauna need a building permit?
A garden sauna or other outbuilding does not need a building permit if it is under 30 m2 and not intended for residential use. You can read more about the Building Act that entered into force on 1.1.2025 here.
Can you have a shower in a garden sauna?
Garden saunas (6–16 m²) cannot have a shower. If you want a shower, choose sauna cabin: Sauna Cabin 20, 25, 30 and 34 can have the Ehta Bathroom, with a shower and heated tiled floor. In the Unelma trim the bathroom is included in the price.
What is the delivery time for the building?
As a rule, all our buildings are delivered in about eight weeks from the order confirmation, depending on the length of the order queue. Remember to allow for any building permit process in your schedule. Some of our models (stock models) are also available with a shorter delivery time.
How much does it cost to transport the building?
The cost of transport depends on the size of the building and the distance. For turnkey deliveries, the transport price always includes installation.

What kind of foundations are needed?
We recommend pier foundations or ground screw foundations for all our buildings. The foundations should be built carefully on a frost-free base, so that they are stable and the building does not shift. We will provide a foundation dimension drawing, making the foundations easy to build.
Can the floor plans be modified?
A garden sauna adapts to your needs, and the floor plans can be modified in many ways. Our design starts by listening to the customer's thoughts, wishes and needs. Based on them, we design the best floor plan: the positions of doors, windows and partition walls, and any additions and removals.
Can the building have a window of a different size? What about an outside door to the sauna room? In other words, can changes be made to the standard models?
We have invested a great deal of time and expertise into the design of our saunas. Our models have been refined over the years to be excellent and functional. However, we understand that needs vary and individual modifications are sometimes necessary. Please get in touch and we can discuss what we can do.
Can the building be electrified?
Yes. When the electrical work is done at the factory, the cables are hidden and no surface wiring is needed. Once the building is in place, the consumer unit is connected to the grid. You can arrange this, for example, with a local electrical installation company.
How should the exterior and interior log surfaces be treated?
The minimum treatment for exterior surfaces is a colourless protective treatment that protects against moisture and mould spots. In damp seasons we recommend treating the surfaces soon after delivery. The protective treatment can also be chosen as an optional extra, in which case it is applied at the factory. Otherwise, the same guidance applies as for treating log surfaces in general.
What warranty do the buildings have?
We give a comprehensive 12-year warranty on the log frame. The floor, roof, sauna benches and electrical installations have a 2-year warranty. Other parts are covered by each manufacturer's own warranty.
