In November 2019 we announced a partnership with Stopdigging, with the aim of bringing to market a unique cooperation model in which a garden sauna can be delivered with foundations competitively and at a fixed price almost anywhere in Finland. The new model was very well received, and over the winter a good number of garden saunas have been delivered with foundations.
”The work is carried out by authorised installers throughout Finland. Before installing the ground screws, we pre-drill a hole in the ground to ensure safe and accurate installation. Thanks to the drilling, small stones are moved out of the way and even stones up to 30 cm in diameter are broken up. If we hit bedrock, we drill down to it and install spikes there in accordance with normal practice. Ground screws can be installed vertically anywhere a concrete footing would normally be cast or a concrete element installed.” says Stopdigging, presenting its concept.
Through New Sauna's Garden Sauna with Foundations package, foundations can be delivered at a fixed price almost anywhere in Finland*. In addition to the affordable price and practicality, we give a completion guarantee for the foundation work. If the foundation cannot be built, you will not have to pay for the foundation work either. A sturdy and functional foundation solution has been designed for each garden sauna model together with foundation professionals.
For the foundations, the Garden Sauna with Foundations package includes site costs, soil bearing capacity testing, measuring and marking, as well as the ground screws and their installation. As a rule we use ground screws measuring 76 x 1200 mm. If the soil requires it, we can also use 76 x 1600 mm ground screws. All prices include VAT.
