In November 2019, we launched a collaboration with Stopdigging with the aim of bringing a unique co-operation model to the market, where a garden sauna can be delivered with foundations competitively and at a fixed price across almost all of Finland. The new operating model was very well received, and now during the winter, a good number of garden saunas have been delivered with foundations.
”The work is carried out by authorised installers across Finland. Before installing ground screws, we pre-drill a hole in the ground to ensure a safe and accurate installation. Small stones are moved out of the way thanks to drilling, and even stones up to 30 cm in diameter are broken up. If we hit bedrock, we drill into it and install spikes according to normal practice. Ground screws can be installed vertically wherever a concrete pour would normally be made or a concrete element installed,” explains Stopdigging its concept.
With the new Saunan courtyard sauna with foundations package, foundations can be delivered at a fixed price almost anywhere in Finland*. In addition to the affordable price and practicality, we give a guarantee for the foundation work. If the foundation cannot be implemented, you will not have to pay for the foundation work. A sturdy and functional foundation solution has been designed for each courtyard sauna model in cooperation with foundation professionals.
The sauna foundation package includes site costs for the foundations, soil bearing capacity testing, measurements and marking, as well as ground screws and their installation. We primarily use 76 x 1200 mm ground screws. If the ground conditions require it, we can also use 76 x 1600 mm ground screws. All prices include VAT.
- Sauna 7 – 1,300 EUR + property expenses
- Sauna 10 – €1,800 + property running costs
- Sauna 16 – 2,200 Euros + property charges
- Sauna 24 – €3,200 + property expenses
When delivering to the regions of Lapland, Kainuu, North Karelia, South Karelia, and North Ostrobothnia, destination costs will be calculated based on location.
