🌟 The Piparikisa 2025 final has concluded. The winner of the adult category was Petra (work No. 3). Santeri and Iina shared the victory in the children's category. See all the final works below! 🌟
Adult series finalists
The adult category received many superb works and selecting the finalists was difficult. Five works were chosen for the final, which best met the entry criteria:
(1) The work relates to Ethan's log buildings.
(2) The customer promise of Ehta, ”The Best Moments,” is conveyed through the work.
Children's series winners
For children's series Of the works received, originally only 2 met the participation criteria (Ehta's gingerbread work related to log buildings), so the competition did not quite proceed as planned.
On the other hand, both of these works were absolutely spectacular, so we decided to declare a draw and award both winners.
After the competition concluded, we received a question from one of the participants asking why their entry did not make it to the finals or receive an award. The missing entry – which had strong potential to win – was found in the spam folder, so we were ultimately able to award three entries in the children's category.
Se, että kannattaa aina avata suu ja kysyä.
Thank you to all participants! All the works in the children's series particularly warmed the hearts of the Ehtalainens, and probably others too.
Iina Jantunen – a breathtakingly atmospheric work with beautiful details
This work impressed with its beautiful details. The work is completely different from the style of Etha's buildings, but clearly a great deal of effort has gone into it and most importantly: the promise of ”Best Moments” shines through the atmosphere of the work in many ways.
Santeri Humalajoki – The heart of Ehta's customer promise
This work has clearly been made with the competition guidelines in mind. The work precisely follows the details of Ehtan Sauna models: could it be Pihasauna 16? The translucent window panes added from gelatin leaves, the terrace with its railings, and the couple hurrying to the spot with towels on and smiles on their faces, cannot help but bring a smile to your face. At this Christmas sauna, one is guaranteed to spend their ’Best Moments’!
Moona and Valtteri Koskinen
This wonderful ensemble includes both a wealth of detail and evocative imagery of special moments in cottage life. Furthermore, the building is very reminiscent of Pihasauna 13, which is part of Ehtta's smallest sauna + cottage ensembles. The work's title ”sauna cottage and outhouse in a Christmas landscape” tells the viewer everything essential.
