Tapani Kalkela bought from Ehta a small sauna cabin (Garden Sauna 16) for their own garden. The Kalkelas don't have a holiday cottage, but they are keen sauna-goers. That's why they wanted a wood-fired sauna and a fireplace lounge that stays warm in winter in their own garden:
”The sauna cabin has given us a chance to relax on weekdays in our own garden. We get to enjoy the sauna's soft, oxygen-rich steam, and our children have had sleepovers with their friends in the fireplace lounge.”
What could be better? A cosy sauna cabin really takes you into a world of its own – even in your own garden. When travelling and carrying belongings or food doesn't take up time and energy, a sauna cabin in your own garden can get a lot of use.
Tapani, at least, believes that the sauna cabin will be “in very active use, both the sauna and the fireplace lounge.”

Why did the Kalkelat choose Ehta as the one to fulfil their dreams?
”In our opinion, the value for money was good, and we could influence the scope of the delivery in many ways.”
In Kalkela's experience, designing and customising the sauna cabin with Ehta was easy. The delivery and getting it ready for use also went smoothly.
Ehta is known for its warm and friendly service, which Tapani noticed too:
”Very friendly and quick service. Since buying our garden sauna, we have also noticed that many of the extras we bought are now ‘packaged’ as separate options, which makes buying easier. –
I recommend Ehta's sauna cabin for people who value ease and simplicity of construction.”
Finally, we ask Tapani what advice he would give if he could choose one tip for someone thinking about buying a sauna cabin. His answer is short and to the point:
”If you have questions, ask for references.”
In search of the perfect sauna moment
According to Kalkela, the perfect sauna moment is calm and unhurried.
The experience in the Ehta sauna differs from the previous ones in that the steam is “perfect” – or, more precisely, “soft and oxygen-rich”.
Ehta's sauna room is deliberately fairly large, and the air circulation is designed so that the ‘best moments’ will certainly not be cut short by a lack of oxygen. The heaters are high quality with a large enough mass of stones, which makes the löyly soft.
The Kalkelas chose a small sauna cabin
The Kalkelo family's small sauna cabin actually comes from Ehta's ”Pihasaunat” (garden saunas) section: Garden Sauna 16. The line between a garden sauna and a sauna cabin is a fine one: a building can be considered a sauna cabin if, in addition to the sauna, it has a living space / sauna lounge – a room that is clearly bigger than just a changing room.
The building's 16 square metres can be used in many ways. At Ehta, buildings are always designed with the customer's needs first: the locations of interior walls, doors, and windows can be changed or the floor plan can even be mirrored.
The ready-made floor plan options on the website help you explore the possibilities even before getting in touch.
Solutions are found even when things are unclear, as Ehta's designers know how to ask the right questions, so that everything is taken into account. Panoramic windows, a bathroom and other extras make sure the dream result is achieved with ease.
