In search of the perfect sauna moment
According to Kalkela, a perfect sauna moment is a peaceful and unhurried situation.
The experience in the Ehtan sauna differs from the previous ones in that the steam is “perfect” – described in more detail “soft and acidic”.
The sauna room is intentionally quite large and the air circulation is designed so that the ‘best moments’ won't prematurely end due to a lack of oxygen. The heaters are high-quality and have a sufficiently large mass of stones, ensuring soft steam.

The small sauna cottage in Kalkeloja is actually a part of the ”Pihasaunas” section of the Sauna 16. The boundary between a sauna and a sauna cottage is blurred: a building can be considered a sauna cottage if, in addition to the sauna, it contains a lounge/sauna room, i.e. a room that is clearly larger than a dressing room alone.
